Sept. 29th marked the end of Marcia Burns' term as Club President, and what
a year it has been ! Under her leadership,
The treasury is larger than when she took over Oct 1st, 2008. She
introduced the annual rummage sale & spaghetti dinner-both highly successful
events. Spent countless hours planning for all of our events, to ensure
they were well publicized
and attended. She gave 100% effort to each project, and brought a very
special personal touch to her job. We could'nt talk her into another year
as President however !
The club recognized Marcia with several awards for her leadership & support,
including a dinner to Outback SteakHouse with First-Husband, Larry.
